Irish Soda Bread with Dried Cherries
When it will come to vacations (any vacation) I like to go all in with food items themes.
I’m not Irish, but I enjoy St Patrick’s Working day and I’ve been regarded to cook dinner up a wonderful Guinness Stew (enjoy a pint way too), or love a corned beef, sandwich or bake soda bread. This year, it is soda bread.
I watched Dylan Dreyer on the Now Show make this bread with her small son Cal, and I was inspired to try her recipe. I utilised dried cherries instead of raisins (both equally simply because I had them in my pantry, and I like them improved). Raisins or currents are absolutely much more regular. Substances
- 4 cups flour
- 2½ teaspoons baking powder
- 1½ teaspoons baking soda
