How Many Medifast Brownies Can You Eat Each Day?
There’s no question that the Medifast brownies are a very nice addition to this plan. They’re rich, decadent and easy to whip up in the microwave. It’s no wonder that many people want to enjoy this product as much as possible. And, I think that people who ask how many of these you’re allowed to eat have them confused with the maintenance bars. I’ll discuss this more in the following article.
The Medifast Brownies Aren’t Restricted Like The Maintenance Bars: There is one product in this diet that they do restrict. This is the maintenance bars and they only want for you to have one of these each day. The reason for this is that this product is higher than most of the other meals in calories (170) and in carbohydrates (22,) so that eating too many of these risks getting you out of ketosis and fat burning mode.
However, what many people don’t know is that if you consume the crunch bars instead of the maintenance bars, there is no such restriction. The crunch bars only have 110 calories and 12 grams of carbs, so they’re an alternative that’s going to be fine up to five times per day.
In this way, the brownies are the same as the crunch bars. Because their calorie and carb content is low (they contain 110 calories and 15 grams of carbs,) these are also not restricted. Theoretically, you could have five of these brownies as you can with the crunch bars. But I’m not sure why you would want to over do it on any one food or meal. There are so many different options on this diet. I personally don’t see why you’d risk getting bored when you have so many different choices.
I understand that most people have a sweet tooth and like the dessert type options. You can get this through the shakes, pudding, oatmeal, and bars. And there are recipes that allow you to make baked goods with many of these. Additionally, some people add fat and sugar free syrups to these items to give you even more variety and flavor.
Keep in mind too that no matter which foods you chose for your five Medifast meals, you’ll still want to have your one main “lean and green meal.” So while you don’t have to limit yourself on the Medifast brownies, you should also know that there are other alternatives. The recipes that use the pudding to make cookies and muffins are good examples.
